Access Gear initially set out to design and manufacture high quality, durable bags for caving and canyoning. Over time, the product range has evolved and expanded to suit a growing range of recreational and industrial users.

As a result of feedback from individuals and companies, Access Gear products are becoming increasingly suited to the demands of the challenging environments they are designed for. When Access Gear first started, feedback came from a group of Auckland based cavers / canyoners. Now the customer base is spreading to other recreational groups, industries and countries. The combined requirements and feedback from all these different sectors is resulting in some highly durable, specialised equipment.
