Made for highly skilled canyoners where weight is a priority. The Korda’s Titan system is more than just a finishing. It is a , patented rope manufacturing system which bestows significant improvements and characteristics on the rope. Until now, ropes basically are made out of two structures: the core and the sheath. Finishing STABILITY: total binding of the sheath and core. Elimination of the effect of stocking or slip the cover over the rope. Rope gives a better dimensional stability over its lifetime. Significantly reduces the progressive shrinkage of the rope over time. This finish makes it not unecessary to wet it before use, it will not shrink (you won’t lose between 4 and 8% of rope on fist wetting) Finish – Durability: high resistance to abrasion with a nicer touch The Titan system incorporates a third structure constituted by a series of filaments running parallel to the rope axis inside the sheath structure, thus transforming it into an element of “armour plating”.
